Pervious Concrete as a Stormwater Management System with Dynamic System Modeling

Dynamic System Modeling for Pervious Concrete Stormwater Management Systems is a service we provide for design professionals to aid in both design and permitting for projects. Using a specialized software and incorporating local and site specific data we can determine the optimum pavement and gravel base depths for a given project and soil type. We have planned and installed systems on sandy based soils, all the way to the clay Type D soils found commonly in the Bay Area. From the first flush to capturing all the impervious cover runoff, we can plan, model, and install the system so that no one ever sees the runoff!

That can be helpful when cities, counties and regional regulations require capture and mitigation of certain thresholds of storm water runoff. We have worked with cities, engineers, architects, and homeowners to both design the pavement for the required storm water runoff amount, but also create documentation and reports to clearly demonstrate that the pavement meets the regulation. And then we install it!
