This head turner finish has garnered quite a bit of excitement in the design and concrete communities. We carefully expose the top layer of the aggregate, and set it off with a light coat of sealer, to bring out the contrast of the aggregates. This finish can be used with color, custom aggregates and overlays.
We also have a smaller aggregate (about 1/8 inch) round gravel that makes a lovely tight surface that has a finer finish, when you need something that isn't as rough looking. This makes a wonderful walking surface, good for sidewalk, paths and trails. Color can be added and it can also be polished.
This classic pervious look has been improved by state-of-the-art mix design, and can be customized to your local aggregate and day-of mix conditions. This generally features 3/8 pea gravel or crushed rock, depending on availability. Fine Grain Classic Pervious is also available in select regions of the Bay Area - Ask for more details!
Overlays are a lower-cost alternative to traditional curbs, borders and edging. We can overlay the edge of the existing driveway and add the look of brick, flagstone or any other masonry finish for less than the cost of brick or flagstone, with a stunning, custom look. You can swing by our office to see the array of overlay samples we have available or we can bring a few by to your office or for an estimate visit.
We have a wide array of colors that we can integrate in to the design of your new pervious hardscape. We have experience integral colors as well as experimenting with stain. Let us know your needs and we can customize color and finish to meet your preferences!
In working with Lyngso, the Peninsula-based landmark of landscaping materials, we have integrated some of their custom aggregate with our mix designs. They have a gorgeous selection of stones and aggregate that we integrate into your hardscape designs.
We install GraniteCrete, a natural looking granite derived product that is more erosion-resistant than gravel or decomposed granite. It comes in a selection of natural warm tones. If you would like an estimate, you can contact us.
